The LPG trial
Back in 1987, 34 years ago, I decided to experiment with LPG gas to run my then Austin 1300 which I had just converted from a left-hand drive to a right-hand drive car. I thought I would have a go at it using a normal cooking gas cylinder. The experiment was successful and I did run it for some time with an inverted gas cylinder in the car. I would not recommend anybody to do it, unless you know what you are doing. It was just for the sake of proving that it was possible.
